It's sitting next to his laptop with research on taste and the human tongue already opened on it. When the pair walk in, a couple of the robots wander over to Penny curiously. Rui gestures over to a blue couch, before going and collecting some tools.

Yes, my sense of touch is very well-tuned. It's not perfect, it doesn't give me heat data as anything except raw numbers, but it exists. Without a sense of touch, a person would actually end up getting hurt quite often, so it was deemed as essential.
I don't have any smell sensors, but I do know that smell connects to taste, so even if I did have a smell sensor I would be okay with reworking the system if necessary.
Yes, I can access my machinery to do repairs and for things I can't do myself I can instruct you in it very easily.
