[Thankfully for Rui, Penny actually likes someone that matches her enthusiasm. So once he invites her inside, she follows him and talks just as excitedly.]
Yes, and no! Parts of the jets exist in my legs, but the boots are external devices to enhance them. I can take them off if I want to. I also have control of a specific weapon I can bring them out in your lab, but we'll have to go to the Training Grounds for me to demonstrate them.
Yes, I can shoot lasers! However, I am much more interested in non-combat technologies. I was already built to be combat ready, it's everything else that had to wait until later.
Oh, and if I forgot to introduce myself I'm Penny Polendina, I am delighted to meet you!
I see, I see! You are fascinating, Polendina-kun, and I would love to learn more at a later date! As mentioned in our text, I'm Rui Kamishiro, and it's a pleasure to meet you too.
[Rui leads her to the backstage area, past neatly organized costumes, props, safety mats, machines, and other things that are frequently used for their shows, and to his office.]
I will gladly assist with any non-combat additions that you would like to have, as that is more my specialty anyway. Starting, of course, with taste sensors. While my overarching goal is to make people smile with my shows...If I can do the same with mechanical skills too, that would be wonderful~
[His office is large, to account for it also being his workshop. It's also a mess, with blueprints and scripts all over and surrounding his desk. There's an open suitcase in the corner with his clothes in it. There are several small robots wandering around the lab, with the biggest and oldest one being a round chicken with a bowtie. It's sitting next to his laptop with research on taste and the human tongue already opened on it. When the pair walk in, a couple of the robots wander over to Penny curiously. Rui gestures over to a blue couch, before going and collecting some tools.
He's a little nervous about working on a sentient robot he didn't create himself, but the excitement is winning out by far.]
Make yourself at home~ Tell me, have you had a chance to get any non-combat technologies installed? Something like touch or smell sensors? If so, I would need to make sure that any new sensors would be compatible. Also do you know how access your machinery properly? Any information you can tell me about yourself would be useful to get started~

You can just call me Penny if you like, since you're willing to do so much to help me, we're already friends.
[The little robots scattered about fascinated Penny, especially because it seemed clear they weren't just worker bots.
She's distracted by them that she doesn't even notice the couch until Rui spoke again.]
Yes, my sense of touch is very well-tuned. It's not perfect, it doesn't give me heat data as anything except raw numbers, but it exists. Without a sense of touch, a person would actually end up getting hurt quite often, so it was deemed as essential.
I don't have any smell sensors, but I do know that smell connects to taste, so even if I did have a smell sensor I would be okay with reworking the system if necessary.
Yes, I can access my machinery to do repairs and for things I can't do myself I can instruct you in it very easily.
Smart devices in this world are not compatible with technology from my world yet, but I can allow you to study my schematics and write them down.
[She pulls out what looks like a small piece of plastic, but then it opens up into a hologram-styled smartphone. With a few taps, he's looking right at the schematics of the girl in front of him. Every internal detail. The core in her chest that powered her would be like nothing he's ever seen, the energy source being called "Aura".]
